Meet Manomita Ghatak Professional Table Tennis Player From West Bengal

JOURNEY : INTER CLUB CHAMPION TO KHELO INDIA UNIVERSITY GAMES 2020.  When I was 5 years old , I used to be very naughty so my mom introduced me to the game of TABLE TENNIS . I was admitted to Konnagar Milan Sangha Club (hooghly , west bengal) . I really love to play Table tennis and sometimes I didn't want to return home from the practice at all. Gradually I continued improving the game and two years after admission I became the Inter Club Champion . Then Pradip Roy was my coach , he's a very angry man and sometimes I beaten by him for my naughtiness

. When I was in class 4 , I got my first chance at summer coaching camp organized by BTTA (BNGAL TABLE TENNIS ASSOCIATION ) . Day by day I improving the game and I became a champion in many competitions and that time I also continued to be first position in my school (Nabagram Hiralal Paul Balika Vidyalaya) sports competitions in 100m , 200m run , relay race and high jump . I got silver medal 5 times in a row at District level in high jump and 2 times I got a chance to compete at State level even though I never learned High jump but I learned something about high jump from my babi(my father) . Then I got a chance to play Table Tennis at State level for the first time in 2014 and in 2017 I played Inter Zonal tournament in Karnataka (Dharbad) .

After that I was going through a hardest part of my life because one day I fall in my bathroom and my knee ligament ruptures . I couldn't walk that time and my parents taught me to walk again . I struggled a lot to get back in the game . 2 months after my accident I went to play national level competition again . After that I didn't stop and I go 15 times national level competitions . A huge thanks to My Mom kabita Ghatak and dad manojit ghatak And my coach pradip roy and a man who always been my side debayan bhattacharyya
