My name is deepanshu gautam and a lot of people know me as the flying skater .
At the age of 8 ,I started learning roller skating in my school . First two three years I enjoyed skating a lot but those days I wasn’t serious about skating much.
One day my Sports teacher in school scolded me a lot and said that ,” Deepanshu don’t you feel bad as you just went to attend tournament to eat patties drink juice that’s it and came back without winning a medal .
That day my teacher’s words made me think a lot and that day I decided that I will be a champion.
Afterwards, I started practicing hard to improve my technique , I set my goals.
After 1 year of devotion I started winning medals in inter complex tournament, school level , and then finally I got my first CBSE cluster medal.
In 2018 I got my first bronze medal in nationals in rink relay race and that was the best feeling I ever had because it was team work.
And now let’s talk a bit about my name FLYING SKATER, back in February 2018 , I met a photographer named Soumesh Pandey, a very kind hearted person .
And today is the day I feel very much thankful to Soumesh Pandey as just because of him I got my famous name “the flying skater” and Journey of my new life started .
I did so many shoots with various photographers . In 2019 and Also went for studio shoots in Pune ✨and amongst Many of my pictures were awarded.
My family plays a very important role in my life and they never told me to abandon sports rather always supported in this cause.
In October 2019 My finger got fractured a day before the national ranking tournament.I cried a lot that day not because I was in physical pain but the agony of not been able to play.Even I missed My nationals and cycling state championship also .
Anyways I will start a fresh and do something miraculous and make my country India proud.
My Dream came true when I got Sponsorship From Lazerxtech Skates company and Pawa collagen and Junk wheels in February 2020.
