Meet Shreyash Mistry National Mallakhamb Player

Hello respect sir / mam . My name is shreyash mistry and I'm a from vadodara, gujarat . I born and brought up in Vadodara . My sports journey is very interesting. When I was child I'm very interested in running. In school I participated all the running events and when I was won I'm very happy and I enjoyed so much and than troughout my school i won most of running events. When I was in 6th std I had very serious my blood count suddenly drop and I was very weak. Than after I decided to went vyayam shala that name is SHREE LAXMINATH VYAYAM MANDIR , VADODARA , GUJARAT. I started attended all the summer vacations camps and learned so many things about life and sports . Mainly I lerned discipline in shree Laxminath vyayam mandir. Than firstly I started playing judo . In2011 I went daily my akhada and learned judo my first judo coach is mr. Darshan Thakkar and Pratik khatri . They both of taught me so much in judo I played district level judo compitition and won my first
compitition . Judo is very similar to wrestling so I played wrestling also and win gold medal in district level . so many years I played wrestling and won district and senior level compititions . at that time I'm doing daily 4 hours practice and after my school and tution also. Everything I managed and done very well. When I was in 10th standard my school organization a annual function and demonstrate mallakhamb game. So they contact in my akhada and i am selected for demonstration. And than national selection was held in my akhada and my mallakhamb coach mr. Prakash Soni and mr. panthesh Panchal told me that to participate in their selection and know your ability. So at that time I read whole day and in evening I went to my akhada and doing 3 hours practice daily . I was very worried about selection because best four players went to national from Gujarat state and than I performed mallakhamb in national selection and my first try is very lucky for me and I'm selected for national . My first national held in Madhya Pradesh and I had done very well in my first national and than my mallakhamb journey start . This is where my career took direction and shape .it changed me as a person , completely .from a kid to a serious and focused player . I really thanks to my parents and coaches to encourage me. Than continues I played 4 nationals in mallakhamb . My best performance in khanchrod ( Madhya Pradesh) national in 2015 . I executed my studies and sports both perfactly . I'm civil engineer. My diploma completed in 2017 from Parul institute of engineering and technology , vadodara . In my collage I'm participated in Kabaddi and atheletics . I played 4 state in Kabaddi tournament (khel gujarat league) and won 2nd place for my collage . In 2017 I won gold medal in 12 km running completed in 35 min . That atheletic event organised by gujarat technological University . Event held in Surat . In diploma I'm the first one who won gold medal in this 12km run. More than 7 to 10 medals I won in mallakhamb , Kabaddi , wrestling and also athletic. Than I studied certified personal trainer course and now I'm level 3 certified personal trainer and also a mallakhamb coach in school and also I taught mallakhamb in shree Laxminath vyayam mandir. That is my second home actually and I'm very happy to taught younger students and make them very strong in mallakhamb. In this journey I faced so many ups and downs but I never lose hope and practicing daily and achieve more and more . I'm veru proud that I played our Indigenous game mallakhamb. Me and my team went to other cities and show mallakhamb and taught them . Now I'm so thankful to my parents , my coaches , my teammates to support me all the time . My inspiration is mr. Deepak shinde. That man is a World champion of mallakhamb and I also want to be like him . I also want to win world cup . My ideol, my inspiration is mr. Deepak shinde . Now my next goal will be winning World cup in mallakhamb. And I start my preparation to achieve my goal.  @coach.shreyash1919m
