Not to sit slothful and lazy at home my mom sent me to Gymnastics Academy called 'Bhoir Gymkhana' which was near to my house when I was 4 years old. Gymnastics as a sport has different disciplines , initially I was involved for 7 years in Artistic gymnastics which is quite mainstream part of the Indian gymnastics. With no major achievements in my hands I was about to quit my game . Just then my coach Mr. Pawan Bhoir introduced me this part of gymnastics world called trampoline gymnastics. It's not that I achieved success in this sport very easily I had to wait for about 3 years for my first bronze medal in state championship. Till then that was the biggest achievement.
Then I was introduced to Mr. Sanjay More (my current coach ), my performance after meeting him drastically improved . As a mentor he was perfect he taught me every single minute detail of game and also technicalities too. The only thing challenging was he used to teach at his academy which was 3 hrs of traveling from my place that included changing the local train twice , so if the training was scheduled at 7 in morning I woke up at 4 and left my home at 4 :30 Nevertheless all this efforts of mine counted when last year I got an individual silver at state championship and also got a gold medal at national championships also I secured a first place at trials for national championships .
Also this year I had a silver medal at state championships (nationals yet to happen - delayed due to Covid 19). All throughout this process I had constant support from my initial coach Ravindra Shirke. I aim to represent India at international championships in trampoline gymnastics . All I just want to say is patience and perseverance is key to everything you want. Aim high and achieve higher .
