Meet Ruksar Ansari Professional Football Player & Coach

Hi, I am RUKSAR ANSARI . I'm from GOVANDI, MUMBAI, MAHARASHTRA and I play for Foxpassers Football Club. I started playing football in standard 9 and now I'm in FY degree college.I have represented my school team and our team was runner up in the Mumbai School Football Challenge tournament. I have also played many other open tournaments.

As you might know, belonging to a conservative Muslim family meant that girls in my family are not allowed to play any games.I'm the only person in my whole family who plays football or any outdoor games and it was not easy to convince family to allow me to play in t-shirts and shorts. But as time passed, I made them believe in me and my love for the football. Even the tag " YOU WILL NOT PLAY " didn't stop me from playing with my whole heart❤⚽. "No one can stop you, unless you stop yourself!" Foxpassers Football Club is youth community leaders to bring up positive change in our locality through football and by learning values beyond just playing a game. We make sure that each player gets to learn the game(sportsmanship) and developing themselves as a good person in real world.

The biggest achievements for me: 1. I'm now assistant coach to our junior teams of @foxpassers football club. 2. I was team manager and captain for couple of leagues. 3. I have started dreaming like crazy to set an identity through football for myself. 4. Along with football, our coach has opened community library The Next Page library. To add on learning more and gain knowledge through books (NO acedemic studies ). 5. During this lockdown, we the small group of people raise funds and helped out to the families hmwhi were in need. 6. Made my parents realise when they supported and allowed for football , I'll not make them regret on this decision they made for me. 7. I'm the only one who plays and still playing football amongst my whole family. 8. I believe in myself more than anyone does and dare to complete myself each day I wake up to shine . 9. Final and most important, I'm proud of myself and been matured enough to help my family in various times. 10. I love myself:) "Dreams are blessings. Dreamers are blessed!" I'm blessed and still dream to give away more.
